I'm sorry, this blog is supposed to be brief, but to cover everything that happened today... let's just say it'll take a while.
Let's start with the least important, and I'll do this by bullet point.
Channel Fireball is doing a sale on box singles and Sorin.
Tetsuo Umezawa is now something like $20-45 depending on where you check. I just ordered one on channel fireball of $13 just based on the higher prices. MTGprice says it's $20 MTGstocks says its $45, and TGCmid says its $40. I mean really!
Tetsuo Umezawa is only expensive because of the new breakout format named Tiny Leaders. Check out this formats rules here. Trust me, this is the next big thing, you won't regret it.
Scourge of the Throne is now $14 dollars and dropping after it's spike to $20.
Spoilers are on fire today. See things from magic origins and Modern Masters 2015(MM2) as well as Dragons of
Takir(DTK).
Please actually click the link and read the card or you might not understand what I'm saying.
Liliana the what?: Sorry, but this is the first time I saw a two sided planeswalker with one non-walker side and its kind of sick. First off, it's my cheap replacement for Liliana of the Veil($90). It's original side, the non planeswalker one, has lifelink. Lifelink! Lifelink in modern is awesome right now. Everybody is playing burn. Maybe I'm exaggerating, but I love this card even more than Narset Transcendent.
Tarmogoyf($220) and Karn Liberated($45) : These two cards desperately needed reprinting. People wanted modern to be a cheap, affordable format. Thank you wizards!
Sarkhan Unbroken: The name lies. The card is broken(OP). The only bad part is that you need to play temur to play it. Flavor wise, when on earth was Sarkan temur?
Dragonlord Ojutai: Five mana 5/4 pseudo hexproof is good. Extra card advantage is just to good to be true - in commander. I'm not so sure about this cards place in other formats.
Last but not least the new two set block is called Battle for Zendikar(not lewy)! Maybe we'll need to wait till October for the fetchlands though.
Thanks for reading so much and see you tomorrow for a summery of this weeks events!
